Steering Column Problem Solved

Finally located a 98 Mark steering column in a South Philly junk yard. Cost me $200.00. It had a blown air bag which I didn't care about. I took it to the Lincoln dealer that had my Mark. Fortunately the memory unit (potentiometer) still worked in the junk yard column. They used the best parts from my column and the junk yard one and got me completely back in business. They called my refurbrished column a "bionic column". Total cost came to $700 for the initial repair job (which could have been better), the junkyard column and this fix.
Thanks for everyones help out there in Lincoln Land.
P.S. There are no more potentiometers (memory units) out there anywhere!
Joe
