Is there someone in the NY area? I heard from Joe there may be a place that does it.

I've been looking myself, since my original wheel is trashed and I've been driving around with a non-lighted black (not 98 black) wheel for a while now. For all I know, it came off a T-bird, but it works.

Don't know about NY, but this was just posted on another site. They're in Atlanta:

I'm pretty sure it's a brand new company so I don't think they have any kind of track record. I'm a bit wary of them right now.

There's another company in TX that does steering wheel restoration:

The price is steep though. I was quoted $500 to put wood inserts and new leather on my wheel. Don't know about just plain leather. I didn't ask. Too rich for my blood.

holy cow, I will pass info along to guy I sold wheel too, thanks though

There was a guy that just posted a vender ad that restores them. Spensive lough. :)

there was a company i was researching before i restored the CE wheel. they wanted about $250 to redo the leather, but it was a top notch place. it was out of texas somewhere.
