Still having fuel problems

A little synopsis:
Vortech supercharger, Ford GT fuel pump with Kenne Bell boost a pump. Flip chip running either pump gas or E85.

I have been running only E85 since I initially took it to the dyno last summer. I am running out of fuel pressure right around 5000 rpms.

I take the car out on some back roads and monitor the fuel pressure with a pressure gauge. Same thing every time, fuel pressure starts dropping around 5000 rpms to about 30 psi at 6000 rpms. This was BEFORE I added the KB boost a pump. After the boost a pump... same thing.

I thought maybe the lines are too small for my fuel demands with E85. I'll see what happens when I make some runs with gas. Exact same situation.

It did this on two differnt fuel pumps, so I know that is not the problem.

I can put compressed air to the fuel pressure regulator and see the fuel pressure rise accordingly, so that is not likely the problem.

I have a new fuel filter.

Verified voltage going to the pump: 12.4Vdc without boost a pump, 16 Vdc with.

60 pound injectors should be enough.

I am stumped by the fact that with gas and E85 it does exactly the same thing. E85 fiel demands at WOT are 30-40% greater than gas.

Any ideas on what else to check? I am all out of ideas.

About 5 times! I just tried a new fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter, and same result. Is there anything in the tune that could effect the fuel delivery?

I am far from being an expert in any of those areas, but with what you have described I find it hard to imagine you running out of fuel. If you are close enough I would get in the car and get it to Lidio at Alternative Automotive. Have you checked the BAP for being installed correctly?

Not sure where you live, but if Chicago is closer than Detroit for you, I would suggest going to see Tim Barth. He works out of Mr. Norm's shop. He was owner of Modular Powerhouse here in Atlanta, and just recently moved up north. He is very familiar with Fords, and is a highly recommended Ford tuner and wrench. Don't let the Mopar sign on the door steer you away, he still works on Fords from what I understand.

Thanks for the contact info. I have one other tune in town to check out first.

I know I installed the bap correctly. I can measure the voltage at the pump right now.

The only other thing I can think of, is the use of E85 in a car not built for flex fuel/E85. There are E85 conversion kits out there on the web for about $450. My T&C minivan is flex fuel, but there are no flex fuel gas stations near me here in GA.

can you check the fuel pressure at the sending unit. If you have a good pressure test kit it will have the fittings to tap into the lines. my thought is the rubber in the line is collapsed in side so if the pressure doesn't drop at the sending unit at 5k then you have narrowed it down to the lines.
