Tiff and I again attended our local dragstrip for our Street Stock points race.

Going into this race, I was in Second Place overall and Tiff was in a Tie for 4th Place.

Tiff and I made it down to the last 4 cars {semi final round}
I had visions of repeating last weeks 1-2 finish!!

Tiff went to the line and staged with her opponent and WON!

Tiff goes to the final round!!!

I went to the line and staged... and broke out by .03.
Discouraged and Dissapointed that I couldn't make the final round with Tiff I returned to the lanes.

Tiff goes back for the final round and WINS!

That's THREE TROPHIES in TWO weeks for the Crazy 8's!!!
Way to GO TIFFANY!!!

The points after the race score me in first place and tiff has moved into 3rd!

Is that awesome or what? I couldn't believe I made it to the finals AGAIN... and then to WIN! Oh my, I wish there was a recorder in my car, I bet it would have been great to hear myself after crossing the finish line and seeing that win light come on! :D

My races went as follows...

Round One: 9.70 dial in, other driver right lights, I run 9.65

Round Two: 9.65 dial in, other driver has a .444 light (perfect is .000), I hit the brakes and run 9.85 with a .5846 Margin of Victory, I would have ran a 9.67ish

Round Three/Semi-Finals: 9.65 dial in, other driver has a .492 light, again I hit the brakes and run 10.18 that would have been a 9.61ish, Margin of Victory was .4953

Round Four/Final: 9.60 dial in, .049 light, foot to the floor I run a 9.67 and win! Other Driver has a 8.72 dial in, .080 light and ran 8.69 crossing the finish line first but, too fast he broke out!

You should never fender race a car... Especially one with as much over hang as a Mark 8! :B *LOL*
