Bought two front struts, about two years ago. Right front BLEW OUT 6 days later. I had to wait for them to receive blown out strut to receive warranty refund/replacement.Had to buy third one to get back on road, and wait for refund
NEVER GOT REFUND!
Blown out shock was sent FEDEX with receipt, it got there. Numerous calls, numerous individuals, finally got someone supposedly in charge, ACKNOWLEDEGED the blown strut was on a shelf in front of him! Never got refund, still have money due me.
The replacement strut was an Arnott strut, was different rubber bladder than first two, with Arnott written on it(had extra thick rubber ribbing added to bladder). The left strut and replacement Arnott are still in car and working.
If you don't have a warranty issue like I did, you'll come out ahead versus ford stuts (assuming they last nearly as long), if you have problems you may get screwed like I did. Obviously, I'll never do business with them again.

If you would like to file a consumer complaint against Strutmasters, you can. The NC Attorney General's office has a consumer complaint division and you can fill out a form and send it in. If you would like, I will find out what the telephone # is or how to get the form. They call all of the businesses that they receive complaints for and usually that is enough to make them satisfy the customer.

Appreciate the offer; if it was 12 months ago I'd follow up on your suggestion, but it's been over two years, there's probaly some time limit to file a complaint. I got tired of fooling with them anymore.

Ended up going with '97 Ford OEM air struts. Put them on Saturday along with new brakes up front and a new radio install. I haven't done this type of work for quite a long time and today I'm very sore. That's what happens when you sit at a desk five days a week and get a little older.
