Even thought I just had the whole front end apart a few months ago, these lca to strut bolts are holding thier ground pretty stubbornly.
Luckily, since I'm replacing the struts, I can take out a little aggression while getting them out and do some harmless dammage.

Even after cutting the strut off I still had to use a puller to get the mount off and push the bolt through. I have no idea how these can get stuck in there so hard.

Haha that's awesome! If you just squeeze the strut ends together, the bolts will come right out. :D

LIAR.... :p

That is a dirty lie, and you should be forced to give out traffic citations as punishment for saying it... :D

Doug (and I, but really more Doug) couldn't even get mine out with his 20Ton press... They had to be cut out with a grinding wheel...

Mine looked like they were bent in twords each other, so squeezing them would have made it worse I believe. how would I squeeze them anyways? just a c-clamp?

Well, being that mine was just off about a week before, I just used channel locks and my air gun. squeezed the strut and used the air gun to back out the bolt. Never had a frozen one though, but I will agree there are in a crappy spot to have to deal with one.
