Subframe braces

To those of you who installed subframe/front suspension braces, did it make a big difference? My Mark shudders and flexes quite a bit. It's tolerable normally, but things like cornering hard on a bumpy road seem to upset the chassis pretty severely. I've read a few posts where people said they improved the handling noticeably. That's a major plus, but I havent seen much commentary on if it makes the car feel more solid overall.

RE: Subframe braces

It does tighten the body up. The car is noticably more rigid after the installation. However it is still a unibody car and to make the car any more rigid would be a major undertaking. Do not expect miracles from subframe connectors, but rather a mild improvement.

RE: Subframe braces

Have any pics of them installed on the car? I saw a pic of some braces a while back and they looked like the hung down from the car quite a bit. Any problems scrapign or anything?

RE: Subframe braces

when i slam my car my subframe connectors scrape. But i had to bend one of them way down to clear the gas tank on the gen 2. Normal driving, i haven't scraped anything yet.

RE: Subframe braces

does someone still make these? what about a strut tower brace? i would like to get some for my car.
