If a members post gets deleted by a moderator, he should at least have the courtesy and courage to send an email or PM to the user whose post was deleted. The only other website that has a policy as horrible as this one is Calvin Louies. I think I'm done here. Anyone who wants to get ahold of me, send me a PM or email.

I deleted your message. Four messages were deleted in a row from the same thread. In that case, I am not going to take the time to send each person a message. I have been, and will always be very good about sending messages. There have been times when a thread was turning into a total disaster and I had to delete several. In those cases, no messages were sent. If you would like to attack the moderators, feel free. There are plenty of people who have had messages deleted by me and the other moderators who have nothing but possitive things to say. I would suggest sending a grievence, but I dont think you can do that unless you are a member.
If anybody is wondering, I deleted my own original response as I dont think it reflects the attitude we are striving for on this board.

Well, this wasn't necessarily directed at you. My first post was deleted, and I was only sent a PM after a public complaint. Then I was asked to respond more like one of the other members. When I posted what I thought was a response to that, it got deleted too. In my response via PM to the moderator, I asked why I didnt get a notification, and then my second post gets deleted without notification as well. I thought it was the same guy, on purpose.
The only reason I come around here is to help other people. I really have nothing to learn here, and am moer than happy to share the vast wealth of knowledge I have compiled at my own cars (and my times) expense. I like to think that when I break something, I can keep someone else from doing the same. Every member I have met in person has been wonderful. I have had several run ins with moderation over the years (one of the reasons I am no longer a memer, as you pointed out), and have to say that things are going much more smoothly on the other board now. That's where I think I'll be spending most of my time. Sorry for the public display. I'll leave you guys alone now. You know how to reach me.

I've had a post ot two deleted, and recieved a PM from flamark explaining why. I always thought it was very professional and courteous. I think he does a hell of a job.
