Suspension Conversion: Arnott, Strut Masters, or ?

I have been reading a lot of previous posts about the topic and have decided to convert the suspension on my 1994 to coil springs. I like the idea of lowering the car but it seems that a lot of you are having problems with the 1.5 inch drop; bottoming out, etc. So maybe I should just go with a standard height conversion. I have looked at two suppliers that have basically the same kit on Ebay: Arnott ($429) and Strut Masters ($377). I have purchased upper control arms and rear shocks from Arnott and they were good. No experience with Strut Masters.

Would anyone have a preference between the two companies products and why? The price difference isn't that big of deal to me.

Also, what other conversion products should I consider? I am not 100% ruling out a lowered kit but I don't want to have to do any modifications to make it work correctly.

Thanks,
Fife

Well...whatever you decide I have some lowered rear springs left over...brand new in box if you're interested.

I used American Air Suspensions twice (as have many others here) with excellent results. Great customer service and fast shipping as well as many recommendations which made me choose him (Eddie).

Here is the page with all the conversion stuff. If you want to order the rears PM me and I'll try to save you some cashola.

You have all the same options that a T-bird/Cougar has. I went the Eibach/Koni route a few years ago. I do wish the Eibach springs were a little stiffer, but I love being able to dial in the Koni's.
