Suspension Problem

I have a 93 Mark. I was planning to do the upper and lower control arm replacement later. But I may have involuntarily moved it up. Yesterday I was going to the supermarket. They happen to be widening the road by the Market. I went into a whole pretty deep while getting into the parking lot. Now I hear the worst squeaking noises when I turn the wheel from the left to the right, and while drive slowly and turning corners. Is it the control arms or the stabilizers?

RE: Suspension Problem

I have the same squeaking noises. I've been told it was the ball joint. It comes and goes but I cannot detect any wear or looseness on any front end components.

RE: Suspension Problem

It is a very annoying problem. I am going to have to go and change it. I heard it can be very bad if left untreated.

RE: Suspension Problem

if it's the ball joint, the whole wheel/spindle assembly will eventually fall off if left uncorrected. i know this from experience.
