Suspension rebuild?

150 for the pair plus both corner lights.

Nice

As far as the suspension goes which I re-did over the summer, I also used Moog (TRW) parts from Rock Auto but used Ford strut rod bushings (there are 4 per side). I also replaced the rear knuckle bushings (3 per side) with poly bushings.

How difficult is it to replace bushings? The lower control arms don't seem too difficult and I may decide to do the job myself. Are there any special tools i'll need to do it or is it just a straightforward remove and replace?

If the stock bushings are still on there, you'll need a dremel or hand grinder to grind the crimps off that hold the bushing assembly together. You'll be without that crimp after the rebuild, but it isn't necessary.

Other than that, standard tools will get the job done.

Like I said before, i'm pretty sure nothing has been touched on this thing so it's a safe bet they are the stock bushings. Thanks for the quick reply.

Yea, are there any other bushings I should look into replacing?

The control arm to strut rod bushings are sold separately and should also be replaced while you are at it.

How are your upper control arms? They are usually the first to go.

They seem fine, at least I wasn't told they were bad when they were checked and while I was changing out the front air strut I didn't notice if it was bad or not. As long as I can get the car inspected i'm happy. I'll eventually change out everything as I get the cash/time.
