RE: Suspension slams over 60MPH
I guess what I was referring to as the EVO is actually the vehicle speed sensor (over 60 mph)> Ihope it's just the airbags (But personally I don't think so)> Remeber, The bags DROP at the 60 mph and would therefore cover ther potential rotted out area decreasing the chance of a leak. However, nothing is impossible. Anyway, I hope I was able to give you some better advice than "Your car is on Drugs".
Lastly, because your bags do reinflate (and supposidly stay up without viagra)I don't think it's necessarily your air bags. I would suspect the issue of the compressor not starting. Again, it depends on how old your compressor is. I personally had a similar situation in which the whole cause was in the evo linkage to the speed sensorshown in the abovree diagram (corrosion is a wonderful thing on a 5vdc system)> I would also take apart and thoroughly clean the solid state relay connection on your air compressor frame accxessible fron the front of the passernger side wheel well.Especially checkl the mechanical tightness of the stab connectors to ensure a tight fit on the solid state relay. If none of this items fix it, bring it to someone with a Superstar II tester (if 93-95) or someone with a OBD-II 96 and above. Good Luck.
