Suspicious Plug

Today, my buddy helped me do the intake gaskets. When we removed the IMRC on the passenger side, this thing fell out of nowhere. We couldn't for the hell of it find out where it goes. It was just plain loose and dropped into the valley.

Here it is:

What is it?????

By the way, this was all in an attempt to solve a major hissing coming from the intake. Funny thing is, the upper IMRC gaskets and lower intake gaskets did not solve the issue. I'm stumped as far as the vacuum leak and even more stumped about what this plug is?? It has an o-ring and a threaded end. The o-ring end has a torx type head on it.

Well, I can tell you those are some great shots of your paint... :D

But I have no idea wtf that little plug is...

WHat end does it have ? edit n/m it's a torx head

It looks like the throttle body plug that screws in from the bottom. I've had one come out on it's own once, and caused a horrible hissing noise, difficult to pin point ;)
