TC/OD Default Off Cookie

Time for an update! All circuitry is packaged in a 40x10mm sealed "cookie". This is probably the final package plan. The connector will go away after a few more beta testers. I will also use a piece of dual loc velcro on the back so you can stick it where you want depending on what you got going on inside the console. It is pretty much indestructable. It will include instructions and a few wire id photos for the install. Install is very easy with four wires total.

Hey Doodaa! One of these is yours if you still want one.
If there is an interest in this product I will have some PC boards made and will be able to sell them much cheaper. For now they are still free. Cant beat that!

Well crap..cant seem to get the photos to show so they are still links...oh well?

man i know i'd like to have one but i can't afford one, free or not that's still way to expensive, that traction control saves the hell out of my back tires.

How much? I was thinking of designing something like that this winter, but why reinvent the wheel?

Also, just to clarify. You plug this module in and it defaults with traction control off?

Are you designing for a gen 1 or two? The methods of turning the TC off is different for the gen 1 and 2 although the system may be the same aside from the interface.

Yes. defaults with TC off. For gen1 only at this time. Gen 2 is not so simple. There are earlier threads describing the differences in gen1/gen2 if you do a search "default off module". As far as cost its probably not worth more than $100 to anyone. I might be wrong? Then again its not worth my time for less than $30-40 or so. Thats about all I can say for now. Obviously if no wants them im not going to spin a PC board and procure parts to sell them for $20 unless I can make a crapload of them. It seems there is a much hotter demand for them in the Mustang community but I sure dont want to leave out the Lincolns. We'll see what happens?

Hey, I'm EXTREMELY interested in one! Drop my a PM or email @ nismotunedgtr@yahoo.com

Thanks!

Mee too

Mee too

I'd be interested in one. I always foget to turn the TC off at the track when you start engine back up from sitting in the staging lanes. That would make it one less thing to do during preflight. ;)

Bumping this old thread.

some of you know Danny, some may not.
I ask you pray for him and his wife Julie as it is very possible/likely that he is among many that have lost everything in the recent fires in central texas.

I spoke with Danny today, before he had made it back to his property. I haven't heard back from him since. All reports from the area make it sound like he might not have dodged this tragic event.

My other friend Jeff SVO Harris may be ok at this point.
so far his house is ok and he's ok...so far.

There are many affected by this, its been a sad day for many people.

It truely does.
These two gentleman, are the type that bend over backwards to help people.

It is absolutley unfair that our kind and generous god would reward these kind of people with such a hardship.

this is been a severe test of my faith.

Fate plays no favorites.
Life is a series of tests.

You have had your share, so have I.

I Hope any Pray Danny and Jeff hold up under this horrible series of hell, along with everybody in central Texas.

Life can just suck sometimes.

If you look for a explanation from God you will never find one, it will be a source of frustration.
