I was sick over the weekend and wanted to do something.
So I did.
I got 5 Red LED and wire in a switch. Then connected the wire into my trunk lights LED.

What do you guys think?

I seen it in a Mercedes trunk (not the same system).
Used for emergency lights i guess.

Trunk light.
I just hook up to the trunk lights.

If you look in the first picture I posted. You will see a wire loom to the left side. I ran the wire in the wire loom and ran the wire to the trunk LED lights I installed 3 months ago.

There this place in Houston called EPO (Electronic Parts Outlet).
That place has a bunch of random Electronic Parts and LEDs.

This is what I installed in the Mark VIII, Town Car and CTS-V trunk.

The LED in the CTS-V trunk liners is just 5MM super red LEDs.
LEDs cost about $1.40 for 3.

How many you want?
I go there about once a week.

I just solder the + and - to each LED.

It's 3 time brighter then the LED pods.

It is 12volts and has a heatsink because it gets warm.

The led pods are $4 each is is 12 volts.

The only think I know about it is uses 12 volts.
I bought 2. Both are going into the Mark VIII.
