Tie rod ends

Replacing inner tie rod ends along with the outer. Was wondering why my new inner tie rods have a slot for the pin to go through after the female threads. I looked at the current inner on pass side and I don't see any pins. My Helm book says there are pins and to get something like this I believe http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-...Z380128033913QQptZMotorsQ5fAutomotiveQ5fTools

Not really looking to pay this much. Also if I don't have any pins currently in there, where can I get some? none came with new tie rods.

Thanks for any replies.

Dang this is why you don't type something and then come back to it lol. My main questions was how to remove the inner tie rods if I can't locate a pin, or is there no doubt going to be a pin ?

No need to remove the old pin if you have new ones...you can just turn the socket until the pins shears off.

If you don't have any replacement pins, you can use red loctite in its place.
