RE: Tie Rods and Ball Joints

You don't say if it's upper or lower ball joint. The upper comes as an assembly, a-arm, cross shaft and bushings, and ball joint- all together. For the lower, NAPA sells a greaseable replacement ball joint that any good front end shop should be able to install. I did a DIY, but I have 50-plus years wrenching my own cars and a complete shop including a 12 ton hydraulic press, which was required to R&R ball joint after removing Lower control arm from car.Fomoco sells the lower control arm with all bushings and the ball joint installed, all as a unit. You might try 5 Star Ford or Ford Parts Network for going this way.I did the whole front end at the same time. New air struts, ball joints, poly-graphite bushings, and sway bar links. Everything but tie rod ends as they were still tight and can be easily replaced at anytime without having to remove anything else.

I'm doing the same thing this weekend, except tie rods included.
