Time for report 650 miles

Car is great, no problems. Fuel mileage is round town stop & go about 14MPG - highway, she goes up to 20MPG. No squeeks or rattles. Happy with the car.

Strong Points: Quiet like a closed library at 3AM
Smooth as satin
Easy to get in & out of
Trunk could hold 3 ganstas
For its size, & weight it takes corners great!!
Weak(er) Points:

Weak underpowered Stereo on radio, but comes on like all H on cassette or C.D. mode.

Rolling start to 50MPH can keep with many faster cars, over 55 it begins to lose guts.

Reverse Warning is a PITA !! It begins beeping when it's 20 feet from object.

'Ya I had it now for 154 days & have 650 miles! Heck, that's 4 & 1/2 miles A DAY ~ Whadda you want????

Funny, Maplecrest sent me a post-card reminder that I probably have 5,000 on it & to bring it in for an oil change/filter. Obviously, they forget to look who the post card was going to!! :) :) :) 5,000 miles should come in in about 3 years!!

Out of curiosity, does the TownCar have an oil change minder? When do you change the oil in your high mileage fleet?

EVERYBODY, regardless of mileage gets the following:-

Once a year:
Oil Change & filter & fuel filter & body & chassis lube and radiator checked for winter protection temp.

Every other year:
Radiator flushed and replenished.

At 4 years of age:-
Trans Fluid changed, new screen and pan cleaned & magnetized

At 5 years (if I still have it):-
Oil Pan dumped & cleaned and demagnitized

Maplecrest does all the cars, except the Cadillac, who is presently without a dealer as the selling dealer went out of business on his 50th birthday IN business. Looking for a new dealer, but now there are no Caddy dealers within like 20 miles of me, that I have heard good things about.....

I don't know if the Town Car has an Oil change Minder.....Have not checked.

ONE THOUSAND MILES AS OF TODAY, 23RD SEPTEMBER 2003. Done in 166 Days!!!!!! (6 miles a day)!! :) Zero Problems, I LOVE the car!
