Hey guys and gals, I have for sale a Phillips Tivo PVR model number: HDR212 that I don't use any more. It is in perfect condition, and I am 99% sure I have all the original box, and instructions that it came with. The recorder is rated to hold 20 hours of video, but it had a software upgrade and it holds 22+ I belive. I just got DishNetwork and it came with a PVR already, so this has been sitting here with no use! PM me with serious offers. It retailed for $199 when I bought it last spring!

I might be interested in it. I was going to go with Direct Tv or one of the competitors and go for the tivo box as well. Do they turn on the box for you or do you have to pay the $200 to turn it on. Do they give you the series 2 Tivo that can be networked throughout your house? I currently have the Sony Tivo with 30 hours and really can not watch tv without it any more. I would like to put yours in the bed room because it is so small. So let me know if the Tivo service is on and I will make you an offer.

Hey, this Tivo is a little older, i.e. its only a series 1. Heres a link http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00004UE2J/104-0241482-7790335?v=glance . It doesn't have the "lifetime" subscription as you are probably thinking. All you do is hook it up, and call them to activate it. I think its $13 a month or something. If you have any more questions, fire away, and I'll try to answer as best I can!

I have been away for the last couple days and just read your email. Thanks for the info but I am going to go with direct tv and they offer the tivo setup for $99 to new customers. See if you can get someone to pay that price and if you are willing to come down a bit more - I will take it.
