On January 25 my wife and I drove down to PHX to see my aunt who was snowbirding from Tacoma Wa. Living in SoCal we stuck the Lincoln on I-10 and cranked it up to 75 (70 is the speed limit) and let it run.......Once we entered Ari the speed went to 80 (speed limit 75) It was an absolute pleasure to drive. Hardly any wind noise and the ride was smoooooth even w/o air suspension. To top it off the car got 24.5/6 mpg. It took 3/4 of a tank of gas too. BTW when we were there gas prices in PHX were $1.77 for 87 Octane......Received the same mileage coming back.......98 Mark VIII Base just turned 100k......no issues......I am happy!!!!! bruce
