For those of you interested in Top Gear, it's now on cable on the BBC channel!

I was turned on to this show by my international F1 friends. IMO it's a great show, funny and lots of fun car stuff. As per usual I suck at reviews, so check out their site at http://www.topgear.com/

They do car tests, and then their driver "The Stig" (no one knows who this is) will take it for a run around the track. I saw them drive the Koenigsigg yesterday along with a vette.

Then they have this crappy Chevy and they invite guests to take it for a drive around the track and post times. Yesterday I saw a repeat with Chef Gordon Ramsey driving and swearing, yet providing the best time so far.

I don't get all the British humor or references, but it really is IMO an enjoyable show. So check it out if you get cable, otherwise look for some clips on youtube which are truly hilarious (I loved the camping one).

You like F1?

That has to be one of the hottest things ever said by a woman!! lol

Top gear rules, if anyone uses bit-torrent you can go to this site:

www.finalgear.com

and can down load any episode you want. Love this show, biut the guys don't always seem to be "up" on all the car info.

Yeah, love F1, but getting sick of boring qualifying. I even slept through the race Sunday.

So who do you think The Stig is?

But who??????

Did you see last night with the amphicars? I loved how Jeremy Clarkson was only interested in HP.

yeah that was actually from 2 years ago, I downloaded it the day after it came out, it was pretty funny!

Have you seen one with the Bugatti Veyron racing across Europe?

No! I thought they still hadn't received approval to drive the Bugatti! Did it do a lap time?

OK, I'm not good with that stuff, it's taking forever to download, but thanks.

That wouldn't happen to be the one where they decorated each other's cars before traveling through the US would it?

Yes it is!!!

The torrents download based on who and how many people have it loaded up to send out. Some take a long time and some are very quick. Also check to see if your port is forwarded properly by clicking: Options, then Speed Guide.

I love top gear, far better than the CRAP we get here.

One show I REALLY love is the one Alan DeCadonnay (sp?) hosted - "Victory By Design" I haven't seen it for a long time. It's him in various locations in the UK, driving one historic car to where another is located, and so on. Lots of Ferraris, Porsches, Maseratis, etc that are historic race cars borrowed from museums for the show.

I also love "Rides" and "Overhaulin".

I've been missing it! Hubby's been hogging the downstairs so I haven't watched. I do think it's on On Demand, so I should check it out.

what time is it on bbc? i can never find it. ive been watching clips of top gear for years and always love it, tho their views on american cars can be harsh.

i dled an episode from finalgear but it said i need a codec to play. i feel like a newb but i forgot what that is and where to find. help?

also i was reading automobile magazine, september issue 2007, in it they feature their pick of the 25 greatest cars of all time broken down into 5 cars for 5 categories. anyways the racing category has an article on the audi quattro. on an exerpt on the pic it says, "Left: Stig Blomqvistkicks up some Greek dust with a Quattro A2 at the 1983 Acropolis Rally" Coincidence? I've only heard of two men with the name Stig, the top gear track driver, and a 80's racing driver named Stig?
