Ok, I'm all done.
I put a 2000 Mustang GT trans in 93. I jmod-ed it, removed the spring from the 2-3 accumulator, and the lower from the 1-2 accumulator. I drilled the valve body for the 300 to 450 setting. I installed a Mach 1 torque converter.
I used a new tcc for my 93 in this trans after trimming the connector to fit the new "circuit board" style harness. I used my MLPS, and VSS with my original speedo gear.
Problems. well, the 2-3 shift is late. What can fix this? Since the stangs came with a 3.27 factory in the rear, and my mark is a 3.08 rear, is there an 8 tooth gear that will get me where I need to be? Will this speedo gear cause a late 2-3 shift? What about the OSS? What is the OSS, and is it bad if I used the one that came with the trans in my year? Yes I changed the pins in the harness, and everything seems ok, except for that late 2-3 shift.
Also, it shuddered last night, not sure what gear I was in, but as soon as I back peddled it, it went away.
What did I do wrong???
