Transmission fluid level?

I wanted to know if there was an ideal fluid level for the 4r70w that you guys adhere to? I have another car with an AOD and learned to run the fluid up to the D in Don't over fill on the dipstick, slighty above the full mark. It actually makes the shifts feel a little better and supposedly is good insurance on an AOD I was told. The difference in actually fluid is very slight, like a 1/16 of a quart.

So do you guys have a preference on the fill level on our cars? Right on the money or slighty overfull?
