Transmission shift points

What is the usual shift points for a Gen 1? Most importantly OD. My rebuilt trans seems to get into OD at a pretty low speed, then under light acceleration it seems to lug.

That's not unusual. Use the OD on/off button to disable OD at low speeds... or get 4.10s! }(

i have a 94 mark and mine does the same thing with the stock trans if i take of easy i can have it in OD at like 20-30mph

My 4th gear would kick in at 32Mph if im not mistaken.

According to shop manual:
Under light Throttle in D
3-4 shift should be around 30-48 MPH
4-3 " " " " 36-27

WOT in D
3-4 " " " " 65-105
4-3 " " " " 92-75

The 3 to 4 shfit at WOT doesn't seem right.

Mine shifts into 4th at around 125 in WOT.

These are general recommendations in the shop manual, and do not account for all kinds of pereferals such as tire size, gear ratios, J Mods, and other Mods. The shift points are determined by the computor given torgue sensing and wheel spped calculations etc. At 125 MPH getting into 4th gear is better than having that "Little Nash Rambler" still stuck in 2nd gear.
