Transmission Slipping

Approx. 6 to 8 months ago I had a shuddering problem. I replaced one, two shift accumulators and upgraded to the Mercon V and all was fine. Now I am getting slippage in overdrive during acceleration and while pulling grade. Tiny bit of slippage in 3rd on hard acceleration. Could this be the other accumilators or is problem probably worse? Any info appreciated.

RE: Transmission Slipping

That's what I figtured. It will have to hold up for another week so I can move. Is there anything I should know before having it rebuilt? Upgrades? Do's or dont's?

RE: Transmission Slipping

I had the same thing happen with my tranny. Be careful, one day on the way to work it just went. I only had 1st and 2nd for the 30 miles left on my drive into work. It cost me around 2,000 for a rebuild and convertor. Had them put in mercon V as well. Try have it done to the jerry mod specs and might as well upgrade the convertor while their in there if you are doing any mods on the car.
