Sunday my cousin and I took his Jeep up to the Rubicon. We had a lot of fun and I thought i would share some pics. He has a 1994 Jeep Wrangler Lifted with 37" tires. Its not easy to tell but the boulders in the pictures look smaller than they are but remember he has 37" tires on his rig. Enjoy :)

Good times :D Talk about small looking rims :D!!! hahaha

I always wanted to do the rubicon trail but i heard that over the past couple of years it has become nearly impassable for most amateur rigs due to deep grooving etc.

I would not say impassable but it would be a challenge:D
They actually made it easier to get in, they blew apart the gatekeeper making it easier (still not easy) to get in. My cousin says he would not go unless you have at least 33" tires, but recommends 35's. Although he said he did see a guy go pretty far with a stock wrangler:eek:. I would hate to see underneath that thing after that. This was my first trip into the Rubicon, but definitely not my last! I plan on buying a Cherokee to build soon :D

I think stock rubicons are supposed to be able to do it pretty easily. I think they come with at least 33" tires if not 34"s.

Hey that is why you get skid plates ;)
