any one use one of these tuners? I've heard of them in the past, never talked to anyone who used one. sounded like an economical way to have complete control over eec-iv computer.

Correct me if im wrong, but

Correct me if im wrong, but

Isn't that the original starting prototype unit to the JET flash tuners now like i got? Didnt JET buy the rights, crank the price and now sell them as JET's?

I was going to buy one along time ago when they first came out but then heard and found out about what SCT could do and went with them instead.

I like the tweecer stuff..

most importantly the datalogging option for eec iv cars, which is virtually non existant from any other software vendor.

Friend of mine has a turbo fox body that runs in the mid 8's in the 1/4 with some insane MPH and he tunes his car with Tweecer.

Tweecer also has First Gen Mark 8 support.
Mike Glover is the guy that put tweecer together, he's here local to me in houston.

no the tweecer is a laptop software not a flash tuner. you can only do so much with the small screen and few buttons on a flash tuner. the tweecer comes with a programmable chip that you plug in to your ECU that has a usb port that plugs into your lap top to tune it. it also has space for 3 or 4 tunes and a switch so you can fine one that you like and if they are all bad you can turn the tweecer off and run off of the stock ECU with out a chip kinda like safe mode.

I used to use the Tweecer stuff long ago when I moved from the EEC Tuner and before I met Jerry W and his stuff. It's been a very long time since I've used it but it works for general tuning. Something simular is the Moates http://www.moates.net/ They didn't have the ability to data log back when I was using it.

You can pull the bin file from the EEC with the software or you might find it at one of the EEC Tuner boards.
