Finally got the car back together for a couple of runs on friday night. Best of the night for me was 8.6861 @ 81.35MPH with tires spinning all over place. I need slicks bad...I did manage to squeek a 60' time of 1.9860 instead of my regular 2.000 60 foot time on street radial tires. my 2nd gear and 3rd gear are hanging. Its hitting the revlimiter at top of both gears. Have to get it bumped down some to shift sooner instead of holding it so long. Its pulling fuel and or timing when it hits the revlimiter for that short second while its shifting and nosediving. Need it to come in sooner and stay full on.

haha yes. Think im gonna go with the MT ET drags with wrinkle walls. Hey those look brand new Driller, are those your second set?

Let's just say they don't quite look like that now. ;)

I don't know what the life expectancy is, I would assume as long as you can see the DOT grooves, all's well. While I considered MT ET drags, these Hoosiers are the lightest 26" drag tires I've seen sold for a 16" wheel. While tubes are recommended, they are optional and I do not use them. I'm very sastified.

Update on this thread. Got my redline problem fixed. Lonnie fixed it. For some reason my EEC had an issue with the PIP function for the limiter. He raised it and no more problem shifting. Pulls smooth all the way up to redline. We also cut back my MPH points on shifts i told him to set them at, and made another program for number two slot on the SCT switch.

Nope, ;( No 1/4's near me without a weekend trip planned ahead of time. I am trying to get the car ready for Atlanta. Think it's there now. Last time at Atlanta i ran 101MPH through the traps starting out in 2nd gear off the tree due to wrong tune on the SCT. Also i didnt have slicks then. Very curious what it will do now in the 1/4. Got no idea till i go up there.
I dont plan on setting it up for spray, just engine. Somewhere down the road i will supercharge it, but money is super tight now for the time being with house getting all setup.
