Urgent help needed with ABS

With some help from Jesse, me and Jamie worked out a deal. I am getting both front ABS sensors just in case. I will keep you guys posted if this resolves the problem.

The replacement of the front left ABS sensor has fixed the problem. It is very strange since my stock sensor only has 50k miles on it and shows NO visible signs of damage ANYWHERE.

Alot of times all you have to do is "disturb them" and they never work right again.

When I sensor lowered my car, I put one of the sensor wires in a bind when the wheel was turned all the way.. and it would pop the ABS light everytime I "turned to lock".

I pulled the sensors wire out of the little bracket that holds it in place and the problem went away.

Doesn't the Traction control computer sample data from front and rear ABS sensors?

I would think it does, because it has to know when the rear tires are spinning... unless it uses data from the OSS in the tranny...? Dunno. did you try cleaning the rear ABS sensors while you were at it? They are on each side of the pumpkin and not by the spindle, like the front sensors.

Yes it gets data from the rear abs sensors as well. But I had the codes pulled with a Snap-On scanner and it indicated a front left sensor failure.
