Viper is Home....

RE: Viper is Home....

Hey Joe - just last night in a toy store I saw a 1/18 scale diecast model of a Viper that looks *exactly* like yours, except for the wing and stripes - it even had chrome 5 spoke wheels, and the color was identical. It was on sale for about $20 - 'you interested?

The guy I purchased the car from has reciepts in and around 185K$ including the origional price of the car. I paid less than half of that for it.
[/div]

Congratulations, Joe! Best of luck with it! Are you going to paint it Ivory Pearl? :p

I was at the dealer having the oil changed in the van last Thursday, and they had a new Viper - Viper red/black, in the showroom for $85k including the $3k gas guzzler tax. The sticker said 20mpg highway. Awesome car!

Way to go Joe!!! I will be waiting for some more drifting vids as well. The lake is starting to freeze and it would be one hell of a neat ride on the ice.LOL

RE: Viper is Home....

Eli, Is that a Hemi? And, did you check your package afterwards... :p ::wtf::

Joe, It sounds like you could charge people a fee for a thrill ride to pay for that thing. ;)

RE: Viper is Home....

Congrats on your new ride...

I'm probably one of the few people here who have zero interest in driving that car... but I'd be plenty happy to be chauffeured around in it.

Just let me have a quick snoffer before we head out. :D

I stopped by to check it out. That is one pimp ride - every detail of it is top performance. Too bad it was raining. :(

I heard the rain covered up the fact that you couldn't stop drooling. ;)

Yeah, good thing it was raining, 'cause I forgot my bib.

Joe fired it up and the garage literally shook! He was whining how it idled, mumbled something about the cams... then later spotted a plug wire had popped off! LOL!

I feel sorry for the guy, the poor pearl car forced outside, all his Mark VIII parts boxed up for sale... and now a car he can't drive in the rain. Poor guy. :p
