Inner "C channel" black vinyl trim ring that holds headliner up to the moonroof. It goes around inside interior hole when you have the moonroof opened up so you can reach through it. Not the exterior rubber ring. It has a metal bar on backside and the rest is all flexible vinyl or rubber my old one feels like. I bought one from someone on this board for 15.00 but its WAY to small. (like 4" too small)
Was there a different size moonroofs in different Mark 8's?
Mine is a 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII with the big size if that helps any.

hi. sorry to hear that. as far as i know it was the factory moonroof. looks the same as mine in my 97. both were from 97's.

haha Now he tells us. lol Anyone need a black trim ring for a 97? Was worth the gamble for 15.00 though. ;)
