RE: well................

The Cubs lost once again. It's kind of a standing joke among Cubs fans. At the end of every season we say "there is alway's next year", or "we are gonna win it next year".

RE: well................

Take a lesson from Toronto Maple Leafs fans

But their a young team with lots of up and coming talent who just need some time to mature and gel as a team and if not next year the look out the year after.

RE: well................

They really need to work on their defense as well. After watching the Marlins incredible defense it was very easy to see where we were lacking. They stole a whole lot of base hits from the cubs.

RE: well................

this is great. u hardly hear about baseball throughout the season but once the team makes it to the playoffs, all of a sudden everyone's a huge fan. im talking about miami, btw. seriously, i didnt even know it was baseball season yet until the whole wildcard thing started up. i was just eagerly awaiting the 1st drop of the puck. the town is going nuts. any excuse to party. great town!

RE: well................

The whole "fan" thing is just another excuse for Cubs fans...just someone else to blame except for the team falling apart. Sure that play allowed a couple of runs, but what about the error that followed and the other 6 runs? When I look at the replay it was OBVIOUS that of that fan hadn't touched the ball, there were 10 others clamoring to get the ball....

RE: well................

The real joke is that one play does not win or lose a game. Why didn't the pitcher just strike out the next guy and all would have been good?

I'm personally glad I don't have to put up with the Chicago fans. It was bad enough with Jordan and Ditka around.

I dont know where you get this from. Chicago fans (excluding the sox) are some of the nicest friendliest people you could go to a ball game with. You dont see fights in the stands. You dont see riots in the streets. You dont see half the ball club in prison. Why do you think they coined the phrase "the lovable losers". Look at their fan base. Most of the fans are blue collar working men such as plumbers, mechanics and regular working guys. Remember the bleecher bumbs? A group of guys who would hang out in the stands, drink a few beers and have a good time. Use my above post for example. You dont see me trashing the opposition. Infact, I commended them for being such a good ball club. Perhaps your opionion is because you are from Wisconsin and probably a Packers fan.

See folks. No swearing. No attacking anybody. Pointing out difference of opinion in a respectful manner.

Fxxx off pig! :D

that fan was soaked in beer upon his exit. they were interviewing people after last nights game who had the dudes picture calling for his death.
