RE: WFC10 News

Cool! Hopefully more people can make it due to the location change. Bummer not having the great hotel and Jay as our concierge.

RE: WFC10 News

Indy, huh? I must recommend Dante's Steakhouse for anyone who enjoys shrimp cocktail. And Club Rio for anyone who enjoys, ya know.....just tail. }(

If Joe is in again this year, (or if I have a more roadtrip-worthy and non-broken vehicle,) I'M IN. I've been to Indy twice. It's not the most fun city, but we can definately make the most of it. Plus there's more than Bud, Bud Light, Bud Select, Bud Ice, or Bud Bundy. There are many ricers there to harass, too, which should prove rather entertaining. :7

Depending on where I am and if I can get off work I'll be there.

Can I bring the TA and not the Mark to a Ford show :p

::wtf::
What do you think?

How about this: Only if you enter it.

RE: WFC10 News

Actually, you can bring anything to the Ford show.

Where they let you park may be the question. :p

Hope to see you there regardless what you drive! :D

Sounds good to me! :)

Hope to see you and Joe make it again this year! :D

RE: WFC10 News

Hey, what do you guys say to taking a group tour of the "other" speedway? Indianaplois Motor Speedway? The Brickyard? I think that'd be HOT!

RE: WFC10 News

If they have night tours maybe. We were pretty busy daylight to well after dark in St. Louis. :)

We need a member in the area to do recon for us. ;)

I'll root around for my paperwork from our last O'Reilly (IRP) trip. We stayed in a 'burb of Indy, close to the track, and the hotel was nice and safe. You won't want to stay at hotels on the edge of Indy itself; we did that on our first trip (2002), and it was the scariest hotel I've ever been in!! We were afraid the truck wouldn't be in the parking lot in the morning

RE: WFC10 News

I've stayed in downtown before and it was nice. Though one of the nicest parts was I wasn't paying....

RE: WFC10 News

 I didn't realize how large Indy is. The raceway is a 17 mile drive from downtown. It'd be nice to stay close to downtown for shopping, dining, etc., but that's an excessive commute! I guess we could carpool with one or 2 designated drivers (not it!) if we must. :B

Rene, let us know what you find. :)

Darn it, I can't find my papers yet. I'm not giving up though ::wtf::
