What do you keep a spare of?

Leo recently fixed his air suspension by replacing the relay and I commented on how with two Mark VIII's I've learned to keep a spare relay 'in stock'.

I got to thinking, besides a vast array of "parts", some new in the box and others used, I do have a few actual 'spares' I keep on hand for the Lincolns. Spares are defined as what you keep on hand and replace when you use them so you always have a "spare". I actually used to have a spare transmission but I recently sold it to someone who needed a cheap replacement and I never restocked it. LOL :D

Off the top of my head, besides the air suspension relay, I can think of:

  • Alternator
  • Serpentine belt
  • HID bulb(s)
  • Sway Bar bushings
  • Front struts
  • Battery Terminals

I'm sure if I strolled through the garage I could pick out more of what I would replace the moment I used it just so I keep one on hand.

What spares do you have?
