What ever happened to??

RE: What ever happened to??

Art, Best Wishes, Friend. I pray for a complete and speedy recovery. If I know you as well as I think I do, I am sure you will milk this for all it's worth, and the hospital will insist that their I/T department does not need an overhaul. I am also sure the nursing staff has a "Countdown 'till Art goes home" calendar posted at their station. Take care, and hope to see you back in the driver's seat very soon.

RE: What ever happened to??

I smell something fishy. How are you dialing up in a hospital? That's a digital switchboard. ;) I was nevar able to do that maybe you know something I don't. :)

I hope you get better and my prayers are with you and your family.

RE: What ever happened to??

Don't tell anyone else I said this Art: I'm not entirely sure, but I think I may be missing you here.

MAN that was hard to say. ;-)

Seriously, best of luck to you, and I hope to see you back here soon.

RE: What ever happened to??

Hey Art....sorry to hear about you being sick. I hope everything goes well and you are back here in full force soon. Norm just isn't the same without his better half. ;)

RE: What ever happened to??

Hospital Admin: "Hey - what's this wire leading from the telephone closet to that Art guy's room?"

Ginger: "Ummm - ummmm - That's a special "lead" for a new clinical Try for Art's care"

Hospital Admin: "Oh Yeah? Well then what's it called?"

Ginger: "It's called an LOD tap-med"

Hospital Admin: "Then what's the LOD stand for?"

Art replies: In genetics, a statistical estimate of whether two loci (the sites of genes) are likely to lie near each other on a chromosome and are therefore likely to be inherited together as a package.

LOD stands for logarithm of the odds (to the base 10). A LOD score of three or more is generally taken to indicate that two gene loci are close to each other on the chromosome. A LOD score of three means the odds are a thousand to one in favor of genetic linkage.

Hospital Admin: Yeah, well - just keep it away from the middle of the doorway. We don't want another lawsuit.

Ginger smiles at Art: Good one honey...

Art: Huh?
