What I like

I was just driving to get some lunch and I was reminded of how much I like that feeling when I open the throttle a little bit in a turn, the traction control light kicks on (you'd think it would be burned out by now!) and the rear of the car does that "thing" when the traction control turns off and the car starts to accelerate again.

After all these years, my Mark VIII and I are still in love.

I'll admit, my eye has wandered a few times over the years, but my car and I still have that spark that keeps our relationship healthy.

I've had 3 of them...and now I have none.

I miss the comfort, the power(lets face it...it isnt a race car, but it does just fine for a 4000 lb luxo-barge), and the ease of washing them by hand.

I once read an article that the Lincoln Mark VIII was voted by a collection of car washers as "best car to wash"...I can FULLY understand that...seriously...sounds strange, but with all the cars I've washed, detailed, owned, cleaned, rinsed, dried, what have you...the Lincoln Mark VIII's is by far the BEST car to wash...must be the body panels, and how the contours all come together.

anyway...I miss them...but i wont be buying another.

I just drove mine up from Naples, FLA in the last two days.... I will admit that MY seat is a little lacking in the padding department, but after about 12 hours in a day, MY seat was hoping for a little more PLUSH!!!

Oh yeah, it's dang COLD here in MD tonight after 80*+ in Naples!
