What instrumentation do I need for a dyno tune?

I'm getting down to the wire on the Vortech install.
Due to the fact that OBD-1 doesn't provide much info, I've been looking
at wideband O2 sensor w/ data logging capability (Innovate and FJO).
These come with various numbers of channels for other sensor inputs.
What parameters are actually needed on the dyno that you can't just
clip on a sensor? (for ex: rpm).

Are you doing this yourself ? i.e. ProRacer package ?

I guess I don't understand the question.

There is nothing you need from the wiring point of view.

You only need a wideband bung welded before the cats on either side, usually driver's for easy access. Tuner provides the wideband though.

I bought the PRP to tweak on it later on.
I haven't contacted Lidio, but will probably try to get a base tune from him,
(by mail) just to get it driveable, then get it to a dyno for a real tune.
Guess I stress-out on the little things, but I was concerned about a lean
bank, so I planned to monitor both side with an A/F guage.
FJO makes a kit that auto selects the leanest input & displays it.
You put wide-band O2s in each stock bung and it reads them, plus converts
the signal to narrow band for the PCM.
I'm not sure if a dyno operator would want to connect to these widebands,
or if they prefer their own sensor.
I thought O2s were susposed to be in the top of the pipe, between the
manifold and cat. How do you add one to the driver side?
If necessary to add a bung, I was planning to drop the exhaust and pass.
side cat to add it beside the stock location.
One last Q.
When they monitor boost is it done before or after the throttle body?
