What is it worth?

if it's just the engine, throw it on CL and tell them it's a ford racing motor capable of handling 900+ hp. Make sure to use words like: ford, lincoln, 4.6 32 valve DOHC V8, aluminum heads, Teskid, mustang and cobra. It should be sold in a week for $400-500. :big-grin:

I'm about to sell a 166k mile drivtrain from a car i stripped for $800. it will be picked up next saturday.

Engine and trans for 800?
 
if it has high miles you'll sell the block for more if you tear it down, than you will get for the entire motor, strip the block down and post that on ebay or craigslist, guys eat the blocks up.

What do I do with the rest of it? what is a good price for the block??
 
$300 for the block is what i usually get, you might be able to sell the heads on craigslist, but not for much money, maybe a hundred bucks for the pair, the oil pan is worth a good chunk if it is completely rust free, $150 all day long on ebay, the rest of it is kind of like a boat anchor, toss it!! fuel injectors sell too!
