What is the difference between bolt pattern 8-165 and 8-170?

What is the difference between bolt pattern 8-165 and 8-170?

I know that the 8 stands for 8 bolts but is the 165 / 170 part interchangable? I am trying to determine if chrome wheels from an F-250 (8-170) will fit my econoline E-350 (8-165). They are both 16" wheels. Do the bolt patterns have to be exactly the same or are the 2 close enough?
