What size ET streets fit?

What is a safe size choice to fit MT ET streets on 17 X 9 rims to fit underneath a non lowered stock Mark fenderwells? No mods to stock air ride except for thicker ADDCO swaybar.

I guess i worded the question with not enough info. I am looking for others that are running slicks and what size works for them on the stock 20 spokes or similar size rim. I am currently running 4 Bridgestone pole positions 245/50-16's. I'd like to have a 9 inch wide slick in there at least for track days.
I went to MT website and they offer too many selections with sizes i don't understand. I assume a 26" tall tire is exactly that? stands 26" tall? So all i have to do is measure horizontally for wheelwell clearance and take away the amount the suspension transfers down onto tire for clearance?

Ok, did some more digging, Think im going with the 26x10.5-16 Et streets on the stock rims when i upgrade to the Cobra R's 5 stars.

I'm curious as well, I think my Nitto DRs may be nearing their limits.

I was running M/T 8x26x15 on a stock Taurus Spokes rim
