What's New for Carlisle?

No, not the event, your car, silly. :D

What is new for your car this year? Just curious, as my '93 has pretty much been the same for a couple years now but expect a couple big changes this year.

I think we should have a "Most Improved" award. :rolleyes:

So, whaddya got new? Maybe it's what do you expect to have before Carlisle? Have a new ride maybe?

Chosing which one of the three I bought within last month to bring will be the toughest decision.

Other than that 100 % stock ;) as always.

I've had the windshield replaced since last year's show.. (it had a big crack in it then..) Here's what I'd *like* to have done before Carlisle. I don't know how realistic it is.

* Remove and repaint front and rear bumper covers
* Front and rear anti-sway bars
* A chip

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I've got rub... or soon will. I just ordered a set of 18x9 Chrome FR500s with new tires. Ouch! :)
 
Driller: good point. I just made the call. I'll be pulling the bumper and mirror covers this week. good thing, too.. the damage on those has annoyed me since I got the car.
 
Last year my car grew 2 more doors, black paint, a Cadillac interior and wheels, and I didn't win a damn thing... :(

not sure what to do to top that other then try and get rid of 2 of the doors, paint it red again, swap out the interior, change the wheels back...

maybe I should take before and after pics... :D

BadSax, remember the FR500s we saw at the track last year in Joliet? I hope to be sporting a set at Carlisle this year with the new hubs and brakes if all goes well. ;)
 
These are new this year..even though I didn't make it last year.. got them just for Carlisle.. also.. they got rid of the steering shimmy.
Also have some new bling and a nasty power adder.

but my first thing hasn't gone though yet, so I've been putting off calling the guy about the thing... but I hope the first thing will come through in the next two weeks, and if the guy still has the thing, then perhaps I'll be seeing you soon... :D :D :D

what about the stuff?
 
I gotta get the thing before I can get the stuff for the thing, and really it would be the second thing, so some of the stuff from the first thing would go to the second thing, and then I hope I can make the first thing disappear... which would be sad, but I'd have the second thing to cheer me up, and then if there is money left, maybe some new stuff for the second thing... :D
