This is a list of car oriented things going on in the bay area in December. What should we do for a December meet?

12/5-7……….Snowbird Outlaw Nationals; Bradenton Motorsports Park; 941-748-1320 or bradentonmotorsports.com - Check the web site for details

12/6………….Dade City Cruise-In; free; 4-9pm; downtown Dade City; 352-567-3769 - This is up US 301 from Tampa or East on Hwy 52 from US 19

12/7.…………Auto Swap Meet; $4; Sumter County Fairgrounds, Bushnell; 727-848-7171 - This and the next one are on the same day and are about 2 miles from each other. I often catch both. This has a small car show and auction with vendors selling parts for old cars and tools.

12/7.…………Cycle Show; Webster Flea Market – CR478 & 3rd St, Webster; $3; 8am to 3pm; 800-832-3477 - This one has a lot of beautiful bikes and a car show, live music and assorted vendors. Good vibes unless you knock over a bike.

12/14…………Runday Sunday; $10+5 to run; 9-5pm; T&T and grudge match racing; Desoto Raceway; bradentonmotorsports.com - This is a fun day at the track. Test & tune, race the clock or race against your buddy.

Thanks Jack, these are all great places, especially the Test and Tune night at the track.

I’m up for anything. I have yet to hear from anyone with any suggestions or lists of things they want to do. I don’t want to seem like I’m forcing some to go somewhere they do not want, so please let us know where you like our next meet, so we can do something where everyone is involved.

The regular Test & Tune is every Thursday night except holidays. I forget which night is Test & Tune at the 1/8th mile strip in Pinellas Park. If we do a meet at the strip it probably should be on RunDay Sunday so more people can come. That's once a month.

It's going to be a while before I do the heads. The next step is headers. After that it'll be fixing my roof and getting a root canal. As you can see I do have my priorities.

12/20………….Strawberry Classic car show; free; 4-9pm; downtown Plant City; 754-3707 - This is a once a month event. It's in downtown Plant City and is a pretty good show.

I think there is also one on the 21st in Port Richey at the USA flea market. I'll find out for sure.

Jack, is there a convienent place at Park/275 to meet (around 11am), Jeff is coming from Seminole and another is coming from clearwater that want to run down with us.

There isn't a convenient place to meet near Park & I-275. Where are you guys going to meet? I'm closest to Seminole but can meet you guys anywhere over there.

We have not figured out a place yet, maybe a gas staion or strip mall close to the hiway. Actually there is a gas station on the SE corner of Park & 4th Street, that may be a good place.

OK, Here's the deal.
Meet at the track around 12 noon Sunday or at the gas station (mobil??) on the SE corner of 4th st & Park Blvd in St Pete between 10:30 & 11 am
