What's Your Favorite Musical?

In retrospect, I guess it wsn't really that bad. At times it was humorous. If you like musicals, you may enjoy it. On a side note, I looked at your webpage. (Trixie) I noticed your Shaumburg license plate frame. I used to live there. I lived in some apartments near Higgins and Schamburg road. Prior to that I lived in Libertyville. I'll bet Woodfield is a mess about now!

Hey Tony - there's quite a few of us in this area - and yeah, Woodfield was already getting bad before Thanksgiving, the traffic out there is horrible...

If you ever get back out this way, let us know, it's always fun to get together when people are coming to visit.

BTW, my friend got me a musical trivia book. :) Should be fun to read through, although I'm not familiar with all the musicals in the book.

I'll definetly make a post when I get up that way. What forum would I post that in? Since I'm new to the VIII community, I'd love to meet some of the peeple associated with it. Are there any Mark VII, VIII get togethers in the Atlanta GA area?

Well, my idea of a "real" musical is one that is scripted by NHRA! Nothing like 4500HP nitro-methane popping through the pipes!

I was never one for musicals, but Moulin Rouge was kind of cool, mostly because of the way they rearranged a lot of 70's and 80's pop songs. Then again I've got a thing for Nicole Kidman, so that might have something to do with it too.

How about the early 80's movie "Heavy Metal"? That had some good music. The space scene was the best! Remember all that "Plutonium Niaborg" they had on board? Good stuff!

What, no fans of Lenny B? His music was mediocre, but his conducting prowess was peerless.
