Ok , my eyes are bleeding and I am frustrated from all of the reading I have been doing and confusion on what to do.
Here is what I am looking for.
* Fit Gen 2 without grinding components or modifications
* No spacers to be used
* Chrome Wheel
* 17 inch and 18 inch optional
* What offset and tire size works for 17 and 18.
* 17 inch tire size (same all around, so I can rotate)
* 18 inch tire size (same all around, so I can rotate)
* Keeping speedo at less that 1 mph difference
* Ride and safety is most important here (I dont race)
* Replacing 10 spokes that I cant look at anymore ( cause of the bubbling and splitting at the center)
I have been reading all kinds of posts, both boards, web sites, and I just dont want to make a mistake. Looking for a 5 spoke wheel. I have a ton of research on a paper here and now I am just frustrated. What a pain in the rear quarter panel.
If you list a wheel that you have that meets the above, please let me know manufacturer/location of purchase, wheel size, wheel width, offset and tire size you currently have.
Just a note, I will probably purchase a Dunlop or Goodyear tire for the car as I get a discount. Also , on the wheels I will need to watch what I spend or the wife will have my head ! !
I have all the calculators and such and have checked them out.
