When it rains the interior lights stay on after even after park

1995 Mark VIII. When it rains the interior lights come on and off while one drives, also the door locks go up and down by them selves. When I park and leave the car the interior lights stay on. I have to pull the fuse to turn them off. I read where rain water gets in driver side door through the combination handle seal. I pulled door panel inside off and I could see water drops. But no DDM module, it must be in trunk. On non-rainy days, no problems. What is causing this?
One day the A/C would not work. I had to turn on headlight switch to make it come on. Then it read: Check Electrical System. I noticed the headlights go out and then the high beams went out. I replaced the Alternator, it was 3 years old. This solved all A/C problems. The headlight bulbs were replaced and they now work, they must have shorted out. (it cost a lot to replace all four) I still have the locks and inside light problems. What should I check or look for now???

I would check the wires that are running between the door and the interior, them might have gotten pinched over time and this is causing them to short with rain on them.

I bet the door locks could have to do with the trunk wiring....I know mine locks/unlocks when I turn on/off the headlights.

Turn your headlights ON, start the car, than turn the headlights off....do the doors lock? If so, check the harness on the left side of the trunk hinge....the plug will get tugged on everytime you open/close the trunk and this will pull wires out. These wires include the anti-theft system that controls the "auto-lock" feature of the car. When the wires don't make a good contact it causes wierd symptoms.

Good call on the alternator....thats what I was going to suggest.
