Where do you get the blue throttle body boots?

I've seen numerous pictures of supercharged stangs and some lincolns on here with powerpipes and such. Im just finishing up my custom fiberglass intake tube from stock mark airbox and MAF to mustang sidemounted oval throttle body. I need 2 of those blue round fat rubberband looking seals that the hose clamps go overtop of for my intake tube. Where is everyone getting them? I was using 4" dryer duct aluminum tube to get the car home with duct tape around throttle body. I hit the gas on highway comming home and sucked the 4" aluminum duct tube flat like a straw in a thick milkshake. lol It was only temporary till i got my carbon fiber one done. The fiberglass one will be first. Took me forever to get the mold "just right" after many changes, but its done, and im ready to glass. I have taken pics from Block stage to carving, to filling and shaping and will take more when i get sticky fingers playing with the glass. Its pretty much the same width of throttle body all the way to stock mark 8 intake box and MAF in a snake S shape to clear the AC tubes on right side of engine bay.

a little off topic but if you a got a mold you can do glass in i could do it in carbon for you ive got a freezer full of pre preg cabon ltm75 if i rember corectly the stuff used on a fighter jets

and i build my own oven and vacum system to cure it in if you want to go that route

yes the mold is finally done for my "power pipe" it goes all the way to the stock mark 8 airbox and MAF. I just didnt know where to get the silicon tubes and big clamps. Thanks for the intell Ponyfreak. Im waxing the heck out of it today when i get out of work in two hours after PT and laying glass on the two parts.
I plan on doing a second mold also. One in tight weave black and blue checkered carbon fiber. Wanna sell some of your old stock? My next project is doing a looong powerpipe for the stock mark 8's. It will have the fitting for the sensor but will not have the resonator holes. It will go straight to the stock airbox and MAF like my little one does for the SVT motor.

I have a large roll of CF as well. I cannot remmber how heavy it is. I am thinking 10oz? You can purchase CF off of ebay. You could even get a cool CF/Kevlar weave.

heres a pic of my homemade "power pipe" that is short enough to reach sidemout throttle body and stock Mark8 airbox with MAF. It still clears the AC lines too. Hope this works. I changed the settings in camera before taking pic. This is the first coat of three primers before waxing the hell out of it and laying fiberglass.

Heres what it started out as a bloc of sheets glued together.

So you're using the cobra intake and tb ? why not just get a cobra inlet tube ?

Yes, its the entire 2001 SVT stang motor that lives in my car now. I'm running stock mark 8 computer and plugs and wires with the return for fuel line still active. I have the stock stang intake tube, i bought it off The Coral separately, but of course it doesnt fit inside our shock tower bays..it sticks out too much without crimping it. My home made one sits all flush with engine and clears the AC lines with ease. Plus it will fit perfect to the stock Mark 8 box which i will run for the meantime, till i save up enough for the P1SC Pro Charger. I have another mold in the works for a stock looong tube for the mark8 with rear throttle body. It will be twice the airflow of stocker, cause im doubling everything on it, and giving it smooth radius bends.

I would be very interested in seeing that.

RE: Where do you get the blue throttle body boots?

Would this require a different MAF than stock? What about speed of airflow into TB with a stock MAF? Seems like it would slow down with the extra elbow room from the stock MAF.

RE: Where do you get the blue throttle body boots?

Thats the problem, I wont know how the long tube will perform till i make one and put it on my buddies car. Hes got an all stock mark 8, no chip or anything. That will be the perfect test. Nope, ill make it to fit completly stock from throttle body, to rubber boot on stock MAF box. Ive always hated the way the stock longtube pinches down to half its size in some ares and bends. and those stupid resonators hanging off the sides.

Im lost now. lol The carbon fiber samples i have, are like cloth fibers blue and black checkerboard style, and you use the clear resin unlike the fiberglasses yellow resin. Im lost when you say cure in oven to bake and also why do you guys keep it in fridge? Is this something new i dont know about? Do tell...
