Where do you work?

RE: Where do you work?

I'm retired as an aircraft machinist for Northwest Airlines and have my own business here in Griffin GA, I operate Dave's Prop Shop, and I buy/sell/trade/repair boat propellers. I also have an Amsoil Synthetic Lubricants dealership. Additionally, I have a shop full of older machine tools that I am rebuilding and getting ready for productive use in a general machine shop.

Then when I find the time and energy, I'm building a '33 Ford street rod.

And I have been helping my father run his construction company lately.Hes getting older and cant get as much done as he used to.
We have been discussing me taking it over completely in the near future. The name of the company is Erection Specialists. We build lockers, shelving, pallet rack, freestanding mezzanines, and conveyor systems. We do almost all of the new schools in vegas and the vast majority of the casinos storage needs.
Its not as much fun as working on cars but it sure pays better.
