I had a Gen. 1, may she rest in peace, and she was much faster than my Gen. 2. Although my Gen. 2 rides nicer.

I have both. A 96 and a 98, both LSC's, both white pearl, both with tan interior. The 96 in marginaly faster, and I like the looks of the Gen 1 best. But then again, you know what they about opinions...

Im going to disagree about gen2 riding smoother, just because gen1 arnt 10-11 years old

gen 2's do ride smoother, no question about it. The suspension is set up to ride smoother, whether the car is new or old.

Gen 1 mark viii is faster than 3.9 LS but not by much stock for stock.

Based on what I've seen at the tracks up here, the Gen II's are faster.

I would say that gen 2's are faster, and gen 1's are quicker.

Last year when I was at Rock Falls there were a few from the Eau Claire area.
