Window Pillar Dent

I have a dent on my driver door window pillar (exterior). Has anyone taken this piece off? I would like to take it off to try to push the dent out from the inside but I do not want to break the piece (costs over $200 at the dealer).

If you have a [link:dentwizard.com/content/117/consumer_home.aspx|PDR (paintless dent repair)] place near you, take it there. They are experts at this and don't charge a lot for what they do. Really.

It's not worth messing your car up for.

Yeah, I agree with Paul. I had some amazing work done to my car for a fraction of what a body shop would have charged me after some serious hail damage. Find a good shop though.
