does anyone know if a 2nd. generation motor will fit in a 1st. generation markviii or better yet does the mustang 4.6 32 valve motor fit in 1st generation markviii

Yes they both physically fit.

There are minor differences that each need to be addressed, but the physical fit is the same.

You will need to figure out what to do with the ignition system... but besides that they both fit.

I thought the Gen II intake was a tad too tall to fin in a Gen 1? My low profile Cobra intake on mine required hood mods.
